Human Nature

Do you know some people say that dogs are almost just like humans? Well, I thought, if that's the case, I may as well act like one... check out these pictures below - I am just like a human being, aren't I?

Summer Has Arrived

Hi everybody - well, I have been quiet on my blog, but that doesn't mean I haven't been busy! Because Karen and Eric were so busy they have not been able to help me putting some more stories and pictures on my blog! But they did make time in November to take me to the beach in Port Melbourne! It was my first time so I was very nervous and the water was a bit scary! I much preferred to be running through the sand but Eric kept trying to make me swim!

Lazy Days

Don't you know that feeling, when all you want to do is sleep or laze your days away! Well, I sure do! As a puppy I need my sleep, but I am not always the only one - the other day I fell asleep on the couch... together with Eric! And also in the backyard I just love chilling out, especially with the new loungers that Karen and Eric have now! They are great to lay on, but most of the time Karen and Eric are on them to read the weekend newspaper - so that leaves hardly any room for me... but I always find a way to find a little spot for myself! Have a look at the pictures - don't you just love lazy days!

Puppy School Graduation

Hi everyone... well it has been a while - almost a month - since I last updated you all with my adventures. So let's go back to mid October, when I had my last puppy school class on the 13th! After playing with all my new friends for one last time the big moment was there - I graduated! Marilyn, Steve and Lisa even came all the way to the city to see me! And they even brought me some great presents and a card for my graduation! I was proud as punch! So, now I have learned to sit, drop, walk, stay and give paws... but only if I get a treat haha!

Meeting Lisa & Steve

Last weekend was yet another exciting chapter in my life - I finally met Aunty Lisa and Uncle Steve. They are the parents of Charlie and Oscar, my 2 new cousins I still have to meet! But because I have yet to have all my vaccinations I am not allowed to see them yet! So Aunty Lisa and Uncle Steve came to see me at my home! To make sure that I looked at my best Karen gave me a bath in the morning! That was the first time that I had a bath here, but I must say I liked it! Aunty Lisa and Uncle Steve brought me a monkey toy that makes funny noises - great to play with! It was a great day and I hope that they will come to see me more often - and in the future maybe I can go and see Charlie and Oscar at their house! After the weekend, life was back to normal, although I have been trying to create a bit of havoc by turning my basket upside down when I was in the living room! Good fun, although I think Karen and Eric just want me to sit in it! Or be a good boy and sleep in it... but sometimes I am so restless! The other night they gave up and let me out of my basket... and guess what... I fell asleep under the table!

A bath to make me look good!

Sleeping Beauty

What a life - I love being a puppy! All I need to do all day is eat, play... and sleep! They say puppies sleep a lot and I guess I don't really want to be the exception to the rule. So, just to prove that I am just like every other good behaving dog I have uploaded some proof of my good behaviour - aren't I an angel!

In my basket!

On the chair!

On the verandah ... I'll sleep anywhere!

Puppy Pre-School

It's been about a week and a half now that I am living with Karen and Eric and I have managed to find some time to write this little update about last weekend. Karen and Eric took me to puppy pre-school again - during my first puppy pre-school the week before everything was so new with so many new impressions to take in that I hardly had time to really get to know my new puppy friends. But last Saturday during my second class I had a good opportunity to get to know them all a little better... and Karen and Eric of course, who are really trying to make me into a good boy! We'll have to see if that will happen though, because I think they already realise that I am a curious and adventurous little puppy!

Very tiring to remember everything!

Just having a rest!

A New Beginning

Wow, what a weekend! Yesterday, I started my new life with my new mum and dad, Karen and Eric! They came to pick me up in Cranbourne, where my old mummy Denise (the breeder as you humans would know her) met with Karen and Eric. After a one hour car ride they finally brought me to my new home - about time, I would say as I have been waiting since they came and picked me as their new friend back on the 19th of August, when I was 6 weeks old! (I was born on the 9th of July, in case you wondered). I had time to explore my new home before Karen and Eric took me to the vet's for some more excitement! After a quick check up (and Mr Vet said I was "a very healthy and energetic puppy"), I got to meet 10 new friends who will be playing with me during puppy pre-school for the next 5 weeks! The rest of the weekend was lots of fun - I was even allowed to stay inside (in the laundry) for my first night.... already outside tonight in my kennel, but I am a big boy, so it's best for me to be in my own "bedroom"! In case you were wondering what all this fuss is about... well, below are some pictures of me enjoying my first weekend!
